Thought that this may be of general interest about Vitamin D deficiency causing reversible muscle weakness in two patients (without myasthenia gravis).

As a response to this very informative and interesting thread, I had my vitamin D levels tested recently - They were very low; I have ocular myasthenia and Hashimoto's thyroiditis. My GP has agreed that I should up my daily dose of vit D3 and calcium.
