From the Oxford Mail; this is me and my twin sister.

www.oxfordmail.co.uk/archive/2012/04/03/...he___s_fighting_fit/

I'm working on getting the obvious inaccuracy corrected - obviously myasthenia gravis is not a muscle wasting disease. It's because the Town and Gown is organised by the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign (who support MG) so the reporter has extrapolated from this.

Oh well done Twis! wish I could wobble along to see you doing it!

Speaking about inaccurancies I am always puzzled as when you go on google and see the phrase' appears to the sufferer' when you look at the link for M.G.A. It implies to some people that it only 'appears' to the sufferer...or is it me just being pedantic and thick!

Well done Twis - I'm a bit jealous.

Would love to be able to do something similar.

Is it the London Marathon next!?!? only joking - but I wish I could do that too.....

Best wishes.

And now we've also been interviewed by the local Oxford radio station:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00qv9fn 1:07:15 to 1:18:40 but for the next 7 days only.

There was so much more I wanted to say but having listened to it again it wasn't a bad effort. We weren't expecting the questions about being twins but we've answered them so many times before that they weren't a problem!

Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

No.

I have walked the route of the London Marathon and did on that occasion swear to never run it.

Very well, thank you for asking. Our official time is 1 hour 13 minutes and 3 seconds. It's slow, but for my first 10k and running with a 6 month pregnant sister, I think it's OK. There is photographic evidence of me running, but I don't look pretty! It looks as hard as it felt.

We managed to raise over £1,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, so we're pleased.

And in a mad, crazy twist, I've signed up to do another 10k in October. I've got a personal best to beat now.
